Seeking a therapist does not need to be an added stress to what you already have going in your life, not to mention the fact that “seeking help” is not always what we want to do when we know we truly need it. I hope that my practice offers a safe and easy space where you can come and bring your whole self.
I approach counseling and art therapy with the idea that most theories in counseling boil down to the following two themes: self-awareness and breaking old patterns. I have experience in body mindfulness theory, symptom management, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and self-esteem promotion. I see clients of all ages and backgrounds without discrimination due to race, religion, color, sexual orientation, or national origin.
I see both individuals and couples and use art therapy, guided imagery, breathwork, mind-body awareness, narrative expression, mindfulness techniques, and more in an eclectic practice informed only by the needs of my clients. Whether you are seeking personal development, a release from a certain stuckness, or simply a space to process your emotions freely, art therapy can be a powerful tool for you.
